Bout' two weeks ago, I had to run across town to pick up some MDF to finish my newest Box. I went to the nearest Home Depot, had the sheet cut down so that I could fit them into my Explorer.
I loaded the lumber into the truck, had it stacked pretty high above the back seats. Made several trips throughout the Kansas City area.
As I was rounding the LAST corner of my trip to my apartment, the top sheet of MDF slid to the left of the car.
The corner of the piece impacted my freshly tinted left rear window.
The window expanded outwards around two or three inches.
I realized what had happened and stopped in the midst of the street in front of my apt. and got out of the car. As I slammed my door shut the pressure shattered the rest of the window.
The tint, and two rolls of duct tape were all that held the window together till I could get a replacement.
The dumbest two hundred dollars I've ever spent.

Just to add fuel to the fire, I got a rock chip and cracked the hell out of my windshield.
