my 96 gmc diesel truck wont start with the key. The only way I can start the truck is to push the remote and let it start my truck. However the moment I press the brake with the key in the ignition and turned to on the truck stalls. Can I disconnect this remote so I can drive the truck again? Any susjestion would be appreciated.

sounds like your gntion switch is bad. whan you remote start it the system bypasses that switch thats why it starts. try replacing it im pretty sure that will fix your problem.
