Need some help. Truck sat for couple months and killed the battery. Now the truck cranks but doesn't start when the key is in the run position!? Starts up when you full turn to crank. Alarm still starts up the truck as normal. Changed the relay and checked all the fuses, gtg, when the 7pin is disconnected from the 500M doesn't crank in run and starts up as norm. The alarm has been in sence 05 and worked fine, until now.

okay im a little confused. for clarification:
- alarm starts truck okay. - when using key to start truck wont start.. but cranks.
If this is the case I would look for a blown fuse or bad relay (probably an ignition circuit).
The alarm is providing power to those circuits that the key isnt doing.

alarm starts truck- correct when key is in the RUN/ON position it cranks and doesn't start. when key is turned all the way to the crank position it starts It shouldn't crank when key is in the run position

The stater SHOULD only engage in the START position. Sounds like a relay is latching open. I think the 560xv has that mini relay pack. I would find an authorized DEI dealer and have them check it out
