98 mazda 626 lx

after massive search to the above, some say it's under the dash, while others say it's in the trunk between the oem speakers.

i've already checked with the dealer and my car didn't come with this option. however, the wiring for this option should be in the car. if it is in the trunk, installation of an aftermarket keyless entry would be so much simpler.

anyone know the answer to this dilemma?
