what is the best bypass to use for an 05 dodge ram pick up i've tried the directed 556cw with no luck at all, i usually just use 556u and loose a key but i happen to have a cw and wanted to try something different, any suggestions on what works?

idatalink ads-tbsl-c2 or al-ca with a ring-c2

actually, the 05 RAM uses ring-C1.
So ADS-TBSL-C1, ADS-DLSL-CH1, or ADS-DL or ADS-AL-CA with ADS-RNG C1

In 2006, they skipped straight to the CH3 stuff. never used the "2"s

was pretty sure all the ones with the black triangle shaped key was c2

look it up on idatalink. says C1. I'd have figured '05 Ram would be 2nd generation sentry key as well.

If you ever run into a '05 Durango, nothing idatalink worse. Gotta use the PATS-Durango05 module. That year was different than 04 or 06. not sure why. We did have one 05 durango come in with no chip in the big keys(with buttons). Very strange.
