I have a viper 1002 and was thinking of up grading to an alarm that has a 2-way fob. does any one know if the plugs between the models are different and if so how different. would i just have to re wire every thing?

My rep told me that the harness was the same for a basic alarm. I really need to know the part # of your new security, Viper, any dei piece, what kind of vehichle, things of that nature. I will help you out, most likely you will ditch the the old, use the original taps and the remote start is pretty simple, to me, it is more simple than security itself. Use your dmm and triple check everything, it only takes a minute to save an hour, peace
