Hi,

I have cheap alarm I use it just to unlock the doors. Now I am looking for alarm with remote start that I want to use to start the AC on as it get's very hot here, so I am just looking for something simple and not $$, and easy to install. Any ideas.

Prestige APS787 is a good unit for a good price. alarm, rem.start, keyless entry. Shouldn't cost you more than 150bucks. I don't know what kind of car you have, so you may need a bypass module for remote start to work as well...just depends on the vehicle.
