It's coming Friday, I will be using a DEI bypass 1701g, any advice or heads up on this. I think its pass lock 3, just haven't done a newer model chevy yet. And I don't have the interface in stock, so if anyone knows what it covers as far as locks, ign, and starter. I think its only 15 amps at the main harness, so fused power from the batt will be needed. any advice is welcome.

do you know the restance values? I do not have that module in stock yet, California takes a little longer. Whats are the resistors for? I thought that year model was data and the module "should" be resistance learning. Thanks for the reply, I will help on my end if you need anything.

it's not Passlock3. It's Passkey3+ and passlock

i have a 1701g instock and i wont even use it on my own truck too muc pain in the aurse. i just got in the can-sl2 12.7 firmware in it took me this long.
i have a 07 silverado i installed a sl2i which said did my truck but didnt. it left out the transponder so i too it out and returned to my distributor i just last week got the can-sl2. i ordered it in december but the manufacture was out of them. the sl2 hooks everything up at the ignition harness where the old version is at the bcm (alot hard to reach). pm me if ya still need the resistence values. i am sure you have a relay on hand...

we mostly use Idatalink and Fortin modules, and leave the dei junk to bestbuy. We'd use a ADS-DLSL GM3 or a CAN-SL2

can-sl2 for the win cuts install time almost in half. the 1701g will take a while to set up on the bench because of the resistor values need you have to use several resistors to get each value. trust me i have used them when everyone was out of the can-sl2's...

Who makes can-sl2? I was under the impression that the unit was a resistance learning module. If some one could please post a link for a distributor or some good info, that would be nice. I dont have a 1701g in stock, thats why I asked. Is there an alternate for can bus systems on the omega firm wire modules? Or.. just toss me a bone on the idta link, D bass, if you have a link to their site, that would be nice. Thanks again for your help. This truck is not typical.
