it is a viper 350 hv. im good on all of the wires except the dome supervision- does it have to be hooked up? and also my negative door triggers. i realize i have to find each wire to each door and diode isolate them, but does anyone know which ones they really are? i have access to directechs and audiovox among other install tips and they all display the same for the wires which i can not find. according to the sources, the driver front door is yellow/black. the only small gauge wire i see is black/yellow stripe. i did find a light green/yellow that would match the gauge of the black/yellow. on the pass side, the front is supposed to be gray/red. there are two of them of what appears to be the exact same size wire. also the rear pass door is supposed to be pink/light blue and i can not find one!!! help me please if anyone knows which wires are really which. i realize it can be tested, but i have no one to help me until later this week and i cant be at the wires and the doors. and if the wires are of the same gauge, i did find the rear hatch wire. again, any help is appreciated.

dome supervision doesn't ned to be hooked up (it just turns on interior lights when disarming-needs relay)
if you don't mind door trigger delay (dome light in for about 35-42 seconds) use black/lt.blue wire-should run right along driver floor. Connect purple from DEI alarm to it. Its a pos trigger.
I normally use the domelight supervision to disarm oem alarms. In that car its drk green/purple (neg trigger) drivers kick.
Hope this helps - please use a multimeter to test your wires.

thank you very much. i wasnt sure about the dome supervision. i did hook up the violet wire on the alarm to the black with blue wire that showed positive 12v when the doors were opened. so i dont have to hook the green from the alarm (- door trigger input) to the wires? Directed tips said something about if i didnt have the diode in line isolating each door on the negative outputs, they may not set the alarm off if a door is opened. this car confused me. im obviously not too savvy on alarms. i appreciate your help.

after looking in the actual boots of the doors i found the neccessary wires to use the diodes on. they werent all in the kickpanels as were listed.it just took some more searching in other places. should i go ahead and use them since i found them? they should test as a ground when the door is open, correct? and dont worry im using a multimeter.

you can only use either a pos door trigger or a neg door trigger not both. I would just use the pos (purple) trigger and be done with it. if you want to use the neg (green trigger) you have to unhook the pos door trigger. makes sense?

ok. i ended up using the neg door triggers at each door. after some fenagling i found all the wires and everything turned out alright, directed was a little wrong on the wiring diagrams for locations. at least the colors were right. thats ok. alarm works great now. thanks for your help guys. two sirens inside, three outside, should work out fine. the ones inside are the little annoying dei piezos that are nauseatingly high pitch.
