Since i'm looking for an alarm, and it'll probley be a little while before i get one and install it, i've been searching and thinking of extra things i can do to make the alarm a little better.

I have two sirens already and the alarm will make 3. I figured one hidden in the engine bay, one hidden inside the vehicle, 4-8 mini sirens in the air ducts, and a car horn inside my sub box.

Anyone ever put a horn inside the car? How loud was it? Since these days *most* people don't even think twice when they hear an alarm go off, i just want to make it painfull to be in my truck when the alarm goes off.

I know it's not all about how loud it is if the install isn't a good one, but it will be. Probley have at least 3 power/ground leads for each siren wired in at different points, so one or more could be cut, and it'd still be sounding. Hide the brain in the most unusual and hardest place to get to that i can find, and maybe a couple neon light tranformers wired to the door handles, and a few other little ideas to implement.

Yeah i bet that be pretty loud inside my blaze. It's just that i already have two, gonna be three sirens, and an extra car horn or 2, and would like to use what i already have.

That page has been bookmarked though. I'm sure i'll want to add more sirens/horns down the line.
