use 2 relays... connect the outputs of the relays to the starter wires, and use the remote start starter output to trip the 2 relays

there are 2 starter wires for a reason (not sure why they do it?)
if you ran a jumper you would be hooking both wires togehter, so they would be hooked up all the time.. in this case why wouldnt they just hook them together from the factory? well, most likely because they are two seperate circuits (once again for what reason i dont know)
For this you would need to isolate the wires, with a relay, so they are not connected together. you wouldnt hook ign1 and ign2 together with a jumper would you?
sorry for the excessive rant but to do this simply run pin 87 to +12v, 86 to your start wire, 85 to ground, and 30 to your 2nd starter wire.
hope this helps.

only thing i would do different is 85 to ground when running and 2 sec before. wont hurt anything just if u use a regular ground the relay will be triggered when starting with a key. it wont hurt anything. remember that wire can only be used for 2 outputs even when diode isolating. so if ur using antigrind, and a bypass module just ground that wire...

It depends on your system and if you install starter kill/anti grind. Wire the first starter as usual. Use the - second starter output of the system to 85. 86 and 87 to 12v constant. 30 to second starter.

I dont know everything. If I did I wouldnt be worried about installing car starters. Thanks for the info. My knowledgebase is/was very limited to simple cars. i am now on my own and researching and doing more. gotta earn someway somehow.

When I first started doing remote starts I jumped a few with no problems. It is certainly not reccomended, and putting a relay in is an extra 2 minutes during prewire, max. We used to charge customers an extra 35 bucks for the second starter wire.

yea the selectable wire is just like wiring a 2nd relay totally isolated...

Not to bag on you or your business practices, but that is highway robbery IMO. I cannot believe how much people charge to do insignificant things to remote starts, like hooking up 2 wires for locks, or a wire for the horn, or a wire for trunk pop. I know people gotta make money, but it seems to me that customers are getting taken advantage of...

i cant see $35 for a relay but his price may be really low to begain with.
i charge 30 for door locks mostly for time lots of them now have resistors and take a little bit.
some of us start with a lower price and it gives the customer the opertunity to have a choise and customers like that. some places start at $250 and include door locks and trunk...
