Where should i place my shock sensor. Right now i have it mounted under the stering coloum, not on the coloum, but on the firewall underit, on metal.

It is not sensitive enough. I can slam the door and it not go off. The sensor is turned all the way up.

I am think ing mounting it on the roof metal, and seeing if that will help?

Where do you guys suggest?

Its an Impulse alarm.
Their is a piece of foam (fire wall material) pushing against the sensor, i think it might be absorbing the impact viberations.

Also where the senors is mounted is not very flexible. The metal is super strong in that place. If you bump anything in front of the doors very hard the alarm will go off, but not behind the door area.
Thats why i think if i put it on the roof it will be more sensitive, what do you think?
