So I have my alarm installed with the tilt sensor and the field disturbance sensor. When either one is tripped the responder screen doesn't show that they are tripped via icon. It does show zones being tripped though. Why is it that the icons don't match up to what was tripped? The owners manual shows that the LCD remote can show the tilt and field disturbance sensor. Any ideas?

i dident know they had individal icons for diffrent sesnors, AND WE SELL EM [Confused]

Yup, at least that is what the owners guide says. But like I said before, they don't seem to work.

The alarm may have to programed by a dealer with a bitwriter. Some of the functions cannot be changed with out one.

What do you mean? Does the bitwriter have the ability to "connect" the additional sensors to the appropriate icons? I mean the sensor obviously works it just doesn't match up with the right icons.

Okay, you were right. My wife lost the companion remote, got a replacement and had my installer show me the bitwriter. It does allow you to assign what sensors are plugged in to what port.
