So I am having an installer put this and the Matrix 10.5 in my car tomorrow and wanted to ask a simple question. After reading the FSM for my car I came to the conclusion that in order for the passenger door to get one touch up and down is to wire the 530 at the door motor. Today I found the accessory wiring instructions for my car and it shows the passenger wiring being done at the driver side kick panel. My question is if the installers use the same wiring guide will my passenger be able to have one touch up and down or will it only work from the main switch (since it is upstream, if you will, from the passenger switch)?

The way I have always wired them up I went to each window motor. That way each switch would have the one touch.

Yeah, they didnt do that... Following the directwire instructions only allows for the main switch to have that feature. Also wanted to know if any of you installers have had Infiniti's/Nissans where when taping the Power Unlock wire it unlocks all the doors instead of just the drivers side first.

If you set the alarm up to do double pulse unlock it will unlock the drivers door then the others, why? Most Infiniti's/Nissans require a double pulse to unlock all the doors anyway. But if you wanted drivers door priority then most of us go to the unlock motor wire for the drivers door then tie into the standard unlock wire for the rest of them.

I understand that, but why would the directwire instructions tell the installer to go for the door unlock switch (that unlocks all the doors) instead of the wires that would allow for the progressive unlock to work right?
