I'm looking at a Viper 771xvr alarm for the car. Okay, it's from Best Buy, but it has a lifetime warrenty and any Best Buy in the country will service it if ever needed.

i thought about getting a job at best buy and later refused after i found out they use t-taps and no solder

I am not sure what you speak of....
Best Buy does not allow T taps of any kind. I speak from experience here. All connections are to be soldered on alarms. That's SOP
