I have been thinking of installing a tracking system and wondered if anyone had comments on any systems??? I was considering DEI's CarCom™ but am definitely open to suggestions. If I could remotely lock the car, disable it, and sound the alarm, I'd be happy.
Andrew.
Oh yeah... who has acceptable monitoring fees?? Orrrr are they all ridiculous prices?

need, try and find a Boomerang dealer, this system is incredible, and has an extremely high recovery rate. I think if you stop in at any clifford dealer they could either supply it or recommend a dealer for you.

My bro. had a lojack and kill switch on his mustang got stolen twice. One time when he was out of town cops found it and impounded it before he knew about it. I think its good if you live in port areas cuz. Theives send the cars over seas and if police have a lojack signal coming from a ships cargo the'll check it out. I have no idea about costs and service though.

Thanks for all the help guys.... I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get more info on this 'Boomerang' system?? Other than calling Clifford that is... There's nothing available on their site...
Thanks! I had no idea it was a home-grown system. I guess it figures... You could draw similarities between this (technologically) and our non-compliance to the nuclear arena... We may not have the bombs but we designed most of the reactors to make them... Even if they are ancient CANDU reactors... what the hell... bombs are bombs...
Is there truly a similarity between LOJACK-style systems and nuclear the nuclear rat-race? Not exactly except that both will kick a$$ in a war and well... we usually won't.
