Hi, I'm kinda new on this forum but, I've been following it for a couple days. I hope to learn alot from all of you and maybe share some of my knowledge.

Anyway, I'm looking for the alarm wires (including the remote start wires) for a 1997 Toyota Camry. Plus any tips or tricks to make the installation a little more unbeatable would be appreciated.

Thanks!

No disrespect to Bulldog, but I would never tap a wire into the fuse panel on a customers car. I will post the real deal on this car Tuesday when I get back to work. I can tell you already that the parking lights wire can probably be found in a connector just above the fuse panel. The door lock type is probably "Negative Pulse". I know there are some special notes on the child safety locks also.

The following link will take you to alarmteks website. If you go down to the bottom under the heading "relay center" and in the left hand side there is a little white window. Scroll down in the window til you come to child safety locks. A diagram will pop up to the right of that window. The diodes that they speak of are either a 1n4004 or a 1n4001. You can use either, and can be purchased at radio shack or active electronics, or even a shop might sell them to you.

Or you can look at the following link: http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page4.html#tc

Between that and what David is going to pull up, you should be set. Oh by the way don't use a test light to check the wires. Getcha a Multimeter.
