Sorry to bombard you guys with all these requests for help but I figured you would welcome the notion. I was wondering if you (well... me) will cause brain damage (heh) by tying the parking and fogs to the flashed parking light output on a Viper 500ESP?? Another quickie... Is it OEM application or practice to manuf these alarms with a FUSED flash output? Or is this up to the scholastic abilities of the installer?
The reason I ask is that I heard a lot of alarms that come stock without fused light flash output are easy to defeat... kick the lens... tie wires together... fry alarm...

if i understood the ? correctly, im not really sure because i dont know the rating of the output, but to be safe, i would add a relay because that output may not be able to handle power that those lights may need, it could burn it up... call the alarm manufacuter and ask them if it will handle that. oh, and it prob would be a good idea to fuse them, even if they come that way from the factory.

Am I all gibberish here??
Thanks guys (and gals if we have any amongst us),
Andrew.
I know all Omega systems come with a "fused" flashing light output. As for hooking up extras lights to this circuit, in most all cases you will need an additional relay. You will also need to diode isolate the lights, otherwise when you turn on the parking lights, the fog lights will come on. Unless you want it this way. BTW, if the fog lights already run off a relay, you don't need to add one.

I believe the 7.5Amp fuse on the white wire of you're alarm is there to protect the park light circuit. Hook it up like a normal park light output.
