Like the subject says, I'm looking for a way to add a keyless entry system to a Z3 without cutting the factory wiring. Who makes a harness and where can I buy it online?

Any recommendations on a keyless entry system. Just has to do doors and truck. An alarm isn't required, this will be a convenience system, not a security one.

Thanks

Focal

Ok,you happen to have one of the EASIEST vehicles for doing keyless/alarm systems.
In behind the glove box is a connector (or alarm module) that has door locks/park lights/hood,door,trunk triggers/ign and bat power, ground and such.
depending on what year your model is I can give you exact wire colors.

I've heard that there is supposed to be an aftermarket harness that plugs into that connector. I'd rather not cut the factory wiring unless I have to. 99 2.8 and a 99 MZ3, I haven't had a chance to look at them yet, but neither of them have the factory alarm option, so I believe that harness should be empty.

Thanks
