Hey everyone. I was wondering if I can use the factory remote for this? The car is a Ford with factory Keyless Entry. On the remote there are 4 buttons...Lock doors, Unlock doors, Pop trunk and panic.
Could the remote be configured of the remote start for the panic button to activiate it?
The Remote Start Kit is Viper aka Dei. Thanks

Yes you can, but I don't know why you would. The range on most factory keyless systems are terrible. Code Alarm makes a remote start kit that will interface with factory keyless systems. They also make an alarm that can interface. For about the same money you could just buy a new system and leave the factory keyless dormant.

Well cause I got it for cost. I might as well use it and I dont want to put it on my manual tranny.
I have a Viper/Dei going on my car. I would use it with that but I people are trying to talk me out of using it on that car.
