A friend of mine got a crimegaurd installed the same day I got my Clifford G4 installed......There is about $600 difference in the two, but his worked just as well as mine.....I happen to have a car that can't take advantage of Clifford's options....stick/manual windows& locks....oh well

I had a crime guard in my last car. It was alright but everytime someone with a radar detector or a police with radar drove by, it would go off.... very annonying. Also it wasn't very loud. Personnally I think it is worth the extra money for the clifford.
