hell ya. Clifford Con20 in a 68 Mustang Fastback, I've done a 64 Nova, a 57 chev, 71 mustang. It's only more difficult because the wiring is usually not documented by alarm companies and you have to figure it out for yourself

I did a 68 Camaro with a old Avital Avistar MKII (I think) and there was less wires and lots more space under or in the dash. Yes not many wires are documented.

Used to(still do) love working on the older cars, did a couple with top end alarms. A fully fused bank of relays from an independant battery under the rear deck, made for a stealth install. The starter relay was under the hood(still is), and the LED was mounted at the tip of the antenna, attached to the rear deck.

No one answered your question about the system being 3 years old. I advise you to get a new system. Most alarm manufactures upgrade features on a regular basis. Chances are your 3 year old alarm is lacking in features available on modern systems. Does it even have code jumping?
