I dont remember who was looking for this, but I finally dug up my 8040 wiring sheet... here it is:Alpine 8040 Wiring diagram

yellow 12v+
red ign 12v+
blue siren 12V+
white / brown lock neg
white green unlock neg
white light flash neg
yellow red led pos
green white hood/trunk switched neg
brown white door sw +/-
brown black option sensor input
red white dirarm switch
black ground
gray blue radar
gray radar
yellow gray radar
yellow green ext. 1 neg
purple alarming out when alarm sounding
orange starter kill 12V+
yellow blue warning out neg when alarm sounding

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...
