i had a new starter installed and now the remote start won't work. i know i should have an installer do this but i live in the middle of nowhere and don't want to drive 7hrs roundtrip to have it done. i need to know how to reset the memory of my remote start. it will flash the lights, etc. but it won't crank, but if i start my truck with the key then use the remote start it will run after the key is removed (as it should) can anyone tell me how to reset the memory of the alarm, also does anyone know the settings i need, it's a '90 s-10 with a 4.3tbi. i've checked to make sure the hood pinswitch isn't grounding out, i've also called the shop that did the install, the guys that i talked to all suggested to bring it in and have the memory reset. if anyone can help in any way it is very appreciated.
