try any home depot or hechingers , usually in the paint section , buy lots of gloves , cheap paint brushes , some mats or cloth , depends on how thick you want it , mats are usually thicker , hmm, definately get the gallons size resin , and masking tape , you can use the bottoim of a gallon milk jug to put the resin in , after it hardens you camn peel out the unused and use it agian , oh and mask , unless you like teh cheap high ,

Well sorry to tell you but hechingers formly (HQ) closed nation wide a month or two back, due to the buy out. The new owner frained the company for all it was worth and they closed. I have tried Lowes and they don't have it.

Try auto-zone or pep boys or something of that nature.

Don't forget a drop cloth to catch resin that drips as it is setting up. I found out, the hard way, that fiberglass does not come off real easy once it has cured to concrete. Good Luck.

i get mine at a local marina, it is a ot cheaper than at Home Depot, and if you are doing a big project, like covering a box, a marina will have big enough sheets so you don;t have to peice it togeather, and it comes out much smoother and stronger.

depends on how much you plan on doing..there are 55gallon drums of resin that is top notch..and always available at your local boat repair shop..OR your local fiberglass/marble works fabrication shop. they have everything you need..the mat on 4' wide rolls about 200'long..any tools..they have them. masks..EVERYTHING. and they'll sell it cheaper than your local retail junk place.
Best Regards, Steve

ptownTSI,
I would definatley add some matt on top of or under the fleece, In my expierience, even for small applications, it is way to weak on it's own, and it's never a good idea to rely on bondo for added rigidity. Since it's a small pod ( I assume) and I'm excessive when it comes to fiberglassing, I would build the ring for the tweeter to mount to and the the ring or sheet of wood for the door contour and use bolts to hold them together, this is overkill but by doing this it would be very easy to adjust the distance between the two rings by adjusting a lock nut until you find something that you like and the added strength would be a nice bonus.

This is kinda off topic, but try not to make the same mistake I made when I started out and make sure you measure the resin and hardner porportionate to each other, and Ialso found out the hard way that it's not always a good idea to let your project dry in the sun on a hot day. Failure to does these things led to many warped panels and headaches for me in the past.
