Does anyone know a website that gets into detail and pictures on how to build your own fiberglass enclosure?!? I really want to do this myself instead of paying $1000 for it. I think it would be fun to say that you did it. But the thing is i know you might need an experienced person to show you but I cant find one in conway, arkansas!! Well if you know how or can teach me or live close please tell me! I really rather do this than just box and carpet! Thanks in advance!

You can do a search for past posts on here and I know there are quite a few that are pretty detailed,I think from Malbeita, that explains most if not all of the processes of glassin.Good luck. [Wink]

I really still cant understand. I'm like completely dumb when it comes to fiberglass. I was wanting to make my subs enclosure out of fiberglass, btw can you do ports with fiberglass? Anyways I'll be running 4 12" L5. I was wanting to mess around with fiberglass so I can get practice and do it for other people. I need to know what to get and where. I figure you make the frame, like a board on bottom and make square rings and connect them to the board but make them sit kind of high and the direction you want them. But then what? Something about putting fleece over it and make sure there are no wrinkles?? Then pour some stuff on it and let it harden? If thats how it goes when do you cut the fleece where the holes will be? If you can help me i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance!
