What gauge power wire should i run for a 800watt amp? What gauge speaker wire should i use to wire the inside of my subwoofer box and from the box to the amp if each speaker is getting 400 watts? Thanks.. let me know!

i would go 4 gauge for the power and ground wire and then 12 gauge for speaker wire .

12Ga wire will handle 2000W continuously at a 4 Ohm load. You don't need larger than this.

the smaller the wire, the easier it is to run it and hide it [Big Grin]

I always think of future upgrades, especially when running power wire, thats the reason for me running 2ga. 4ga works fine, for the amount of power you're talking about.

I must agree with the 4AWG/ 12AWG combo. That's all you'll need.
