Sup all, I am just posting here to get some input on some ways I can deaden my trunk lid on a 71 Impala. I want to keep it at as clean as possible. Would shooting some expanding foam in between the crevices do me any good? It will certainly be much cleaner as long as I stay rather conservative on it. Im just wondering if this is going to do any help or am I just wasting my time on this? Any other tips would be great. I'm definately going to have to deaden the doors. They resonate w/ just the sound of the exhaust. Anything at Home depot that can aid in this as well, or should I just look online for other alternatives?

I've never used these two materials, where can I go to check them out?

most car audio shops have the spray SD, and most body shops have the Rhino Liner

I have an older car also, 76 Grand Prix. What I used was min. expanding foam. I also put in behind my quarter pannel. ( between door and start of rear quarter) If you want to deaden outside sound then cover it with the pannel cover stuff sterio shops sell.
