Hello,

I am having some glitches with my car stereo. I can get on speaker to work in the back but can't get the other one to work. I also can't see to get the Radio to work either. I hooked the Antana that is built in the car up but it also has a antana wire that is blue that is on the radio and don't know what I am to do with that one. My Atena on my car is gone and wondering if I have to get another one before it will work. I got the cd player and one speaker to work but other then that I can't get any thing else to work. If you need to know my car is an 87 Cavilar. Please advise me on wiring and stuff like that. [Eek!] [Confused]

I'm assuming that you've already cut the factory plugs off your dash wiring? You should have purchased a harness that plugged directly into the factory wiring. That'd save a lot of headaches and it would be done right without damaging your head unit.
The cd player will work without an antenna on the car but the radio probably won't work very well.
I'm not gonna try giving you the correct wiring colors for hooking it up 'cause I don't have them in front of me. If no body else has them I'll post tomorrow.
Were the factory plugs/wires in tact when you started?
