I am getting ready to make a box for my sub (RE HC 15") in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. People will be able to see it because there is no trunk so I want to make a panel to cover the front of the box (sub and port) so it looks like there is just a box there. I want it to be impossible or hard to stab through with a screwdriver but also be able for the sub to play on short trips (so I don't have to take it off and on for like 5 minute trips). Anyone have any advise on this. Thanks.

Go to select products (www.selectproducts.com) website they sell metal grills. For a finished look i would say make a nice solid from out of mdf put the metal grille in it and then wrap the whole thing with black grille cloth it will both protect your sub and make your box less noticeable.

I have a Jeep Cherokee
You cant see my subs because they're 5" off the rear hatch. I also have limo tint back there and a Matte Black painted box, you can't see any of it.

Tint is a good option, I got my entire car done for $170.
