Ok, for the life of me I cant get the slack out when wrapping over a circle for my door pods. Here are some pics of what I mean.





What are the tricks? On the last set of kicks I did I just sort of folded it over to make the smallest creases I could and then just filled it in with bondo, but there has to be a better way....I thought about cutting the loop out, but not sure if that would be a good idea.

Help.

Try not using such a thick material to do the mold. Use speaker grill cloth, panty hose, or any other very stretchable material and you will not have extra material if you pull and stretch it right. Thanks, Erik Reid

Use fleece that stretches better or a t-shirt. I wouldn't use panty hose. It's too thin a material.

If you get the fleece they sell at Old Navy it works very well. It's more elastic than typical fabric store stuff, I've found anyway.
