I am building fiberglass kicks for my '99 Honda Civic. The kicks are going to be pretty small and will house a 6.5" and a tweeter each. Is it a good idea, considering the small volume of the kickpod, to stuff it with polyfill?

Also, I saw a picture of a guy whose kicks were sprayed inside with rubberized undercoating? Any opinions on this?

Thanks!

Pollyfill? Yup!
Ruberized undercoating? Never used it personally... Sure wouldn't hurt anything though!

The rubberized coating would keep resonances from the enclosure to a minimum. Polyfil is always a good idea. I've never had a box that sounded better without it, than with it. It smooths out sound. Probably to a lesser extend in a pod, but it wouldn't hurt anything. Just dont put too much ni

I got sick of waiting 9 minutes for a thread to load at Sounddomain so i will now use the Termpro forums for 'word of mouth' car audio information
