I just recently ordered two Alpine MRD-M500 and a MRV-F540 amps. I'm also going to put a cap to each M500. What gauge wire should I use for power and ground? Also would it be ok to have my ground go to a powersplit and then to each amp and cap? Or is it a lot better to have each component to have it's own ground?

i had good luck going both ways, using a common ground and doing seperate. make sure you have big enough ground to accomodate for all the stuff, like 2 4 guage should combine into 2 guage and such. later
