I'm installing a system in my pick-up and was hoping some one would have some advise, I have two amps both are Alpine. 1st is a MRV1000 2 channel @14.4V RMS is 150Wx2 (0.08% THD)4ohm and the 2nd is MRV-4004 channel @14.4V RMS is 160x2 (0.3% THD) 4ohm. Front speakers are Polk comp. EX2560 6-1/2" 180W Max and the rear subs are Punch RFP3410 10" 400W Max. My question is what amp should I use for the subs? I have a Kenwood KDC-V7017 head unit.
Thanks

As a general rule, the subs should have the larger amp. It also seems that the smaller amp has less distortion, which makes it better for the fronts.
