Am going to be installing a sub setup in a friends car next week. He has one of them fancy factory systems with CD changer...... We whant to add gust a sub. The amp I am using RF 500aII has Hi and Low level inputs so I don't need to get the converters. My question is do I just tap into a set of existing speekers letting them still play or do I need to disconect them. Will Tapping into them change the load on the factory amp.

It won't be wrong with factory amp. Just connect Hi input of new amp paralel to speakers and let them play.

Input resistance of new amp is so high that it will not affect much.
