Topic: Need help with Adire Audio Brahma/ Arc
I have 2 Arc Audio 1500d-r's rated at 1,000 watts at 20hms. I planned on purchasing 2 Adire Audio Brahma 12's, 1 per amp. I see that their Sensitivity level is pretty low at 84db, but it says that if you put voice coils in parallel the sensitivity raises to 93.1db. How would I wire the Brahma to achieve the 93.1db sensitivity, while getting all 1,000 watts to the sub? -------------------- 2006 Ford F-150 Supercab >Head Unit (Eclipse CD8454) >Amplifiers (Diamond D5300.4/Mids) (Audio Art 70.2/Tweet) >Subs (Either 2 Sound Splinter Ri10's or 2 DAYTON 10" HO's) >Comps (Seas Lotus Reference Set) >Wiring/Etc. (Knukonceptz 0 gauge, Stinger connects, Batcap 300 & 800)

First of All , At one time i was considering the same setup but changed my mind cause brahmas with DVC can only be wired to 1 or 4 ohm of course for one sub and the arc gives 1000 watts at 2 ohms and 900 at 4 ohms so you will get the sensitivity level of 84 cause you can't wire them in parallel unless you want to run the arc at 1 ohm and it isn't suggested that you do so......... So if you really want the higher sensitivity level of 93.1 db then switch your amps to the 2500CXL and then you can run one amp on each sub and get the 93.1 db SL Well didn't see you already had the 1500D-R amps well i guess just switch subs either D1 or D4 ohm subs since you want one amp on one sub -------------------- 1995 Saturn SL Optima Red Top 200 Amp Iraggi Alt Knukonceptz Wiring Eclipse 5423 Symmetry EPX2 ID CD1 Pro MH DD W6.5 3-12" RE SE JBL 1200.1 , 180.2 , 80.2
