I have been searching for a decent car audio installation shop in Chicago/Chicagoland area. I CANNOT find a good one. The ones I've contacted here in the city are too ghetto. Best buy is my best option right now and I would much rather go with a good independant installer.
I've heard of ABT electronics in morton grove but that looks like a HUGE store just like Best Buy...cant be that good.
Please give me your recommendations for a shop! I'm desperate!

What part of Chicago are you located? Do you know where Palatine is? there's a shop up there called Excel Audio. The owner and several customers frequent this forum. give them a shot. Support those who support dB Drag !

Also in the Palatine area is a shop called AutoSound. I have purchased parts of my system there and they installed it for me. Very good job and very friendly folks.

Sound decisons in montgomery,IL about 30 miles west of the city they did a beamer thats in the new car audio. They also have DB Drag there. You can also try mobile concepts there is on in dolton,IL really close its like 159th right off 90/94
