what would be the best method to reinforce the cab wall after cutting it out to make a full walk through? i know you have to weld in braces, but what style works best? square wall tubing, round tubing, building a square frame, or just corner braces? suggestions would be appreciated and actual pictures would be even better. please either post available pics on here or email them to me directly at mallory183@aol.com thanks

well, in your case, the box bracing it would be true. lol. but i've always heard that you should at least build some kind of bracing to keep the back of the cab from flexing and swaying...kind of like a cardboard box with one side missing. although no bracing at all may work, i'd rather be safe than sorry. besides...never heard of an overkill for bracing an spl vehicle (within the rules of course) lol.

i would use the square tube if possible if you are going to do this, it will sit more snug agains the vehicle and have more contact surface, there fore it would brace alot better.
