Anyone know how to make a motor run in 2 seperate directions, using only a single trigger (+ or -) with a reed switch located at your maximum position to stop the motor?
I need it to hit a button (or remote o/p) and keep the motor running until it hits the reed switch, then hit the same button and it comes down until it hits another reed switch?

I drew this up but i have not tested it. It should work. Also once the motor starts there is no stopping it until it hits the limit switches.
I also have another diagram but with a momentary switch like a doorlock switch.
Let me know if it works.
Oh, check out our TR-7, it will actually do what you want.
