I want to wire a relay to keep my system on after the ignition is off (like in a camaro) so that the system shuts off when you open the door. How would I do this and how many relays would I need? There was a post about this last year but I lost what I wrote down.

if your door pin wire is a neg:
85-door pin,
86-pos
30-pos
87a-sterrio ing pos
87-nuthin

if your door pin is a pos:
85-neg
86-door pin
30-pos
87a-sterrio ing pos
87-nuthin
this is all on a 5 prong relay

I'm sorry thats not gonna work because when you shut the door the sterrio will come back on [Big Grin] I'll have to think on that one.....

with a minor modification to this circuit, you can make a door trigger turn off the radio. right now i have it so doorlock output turns it off.
