What is required to hook up a PS2 to my stereo. I got a Alpine HU with AI Net, plus I'll have a LCD screen, now the question is how do you guys power the PS2?

Buy a power inverter (300w one ought to do it) cut off the cigarette lighter adapter, and hard-wire it in under the dash or wherever you want the PS2. You can either leave it on all the time, mount it where the switch is accessable, or take it apart, and mount the switch away from the box in a better location.

A 150W inverter is fine, you can also wire a relay inline w/ the 12V+ lead on the inverter and trigger it w/ the remote lead on your deck. To get the sound through, Alpine makes an AI net line in converter (can't remember part#, check w/ your local alpine dealer or alpine1.com)

We have a 250 watts power inverter, running a pc for tunes It has a tv-radio tuner card as well, so besides 4k songs we have radio and tv! More than 2 years running without a hiccup... And there are power inverters that let us start the car without killing the pc, and others that reset everything Check for this It is very annoying...
