Can anyone post a link to a site that has the wiring of a cva-1000 for video? Especially a cva-1000 that is older and need a special resistor or something like that.

Buy a Alpine nav cable and cut it in half and sell the other half to a friend with another CVA1000. I can get the exact schematic for you, but I can tell you that the wires you want are in the shielded set inside, and there is no need for a resistor. Used to work at Stereo West and we did a couple of these. Worst part about it is the audio in on the nav cable is only in MONO. That sucks.

Please send me the scematic if you can to wperez@suscom.net. Is any of the wires a 12volt switch which you could use to switch the alpine aux audiobox on and off. If you could do that you could get stereo sound.
