I just bought my new dodge dakota quad cab, and i am having a little trouble figuring out how i should go about installing a subwoofer enclosure. The whole point in having the quad cab was to have the extra room with four seats. So taking the back seats out is out of the question. Their is not much room underneath or behind them either. So as of right now i have no idea as to what i should do to have some type of subwoofer in my truck. Does anyone know of a way i can put one in without it taking up much room, or keep it concealed? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah a wall would be nice. But i need to put a subwoofer in without having a big ol box back there. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've got two ideas. One, make a center-console type deal that encloses the sub, or two, build a box on the floor and either face the subs down, or put a hard-core heavy duty grille over them.

Nice choice of truck, I have a 2001 Dakota Club Cab. Anyway, have you looked at JL stealth boxes or MTX thunderforms? I was a bit hesitant at first because I am very picky about how my bass sounds so I have always built my own enclosures, but I bought a thunderform for my Dakota (replaces the tool tray and houses 2 10's with .65 ft³ per chamber. Doesn't sound bad at all with about 500 watts on it right now. I replaced the MTX's with Image Dynamics and it sounds great.

I have heard the thunderforms and they actually sounded really good...like Devastator said, if you want a better sub, some IDQ's would drop in there nicely as well as a lot of other good subs. I ahve a Dakota too, but mine is only the club cab so I didn't mind taking out the back seats!
