Does anyone have any tricks or know of some carpet that is easy to make fit on curved surfaces. IE taking the factory carpet of the floor and laying new, what is the easiest wow of getting carpet to look right when going over the trasmission hump ect.. ect...

If you are using carpet off of a roll, glue it down on one side, then literally stretch it over the hump. This will show all flaws in the hump though.

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

Sounds like your taking out the old carpet right? If so alot of fabric stores sell premolded carpet specific to all kinds of vehicles. I last checked they cost anywhere from $99-250 bucks.
If your not looking to spend that much, You can use that stuff Audiophyle said,"off a role", I would add one thing though, that if you get the carpet that is non backed it will be alot easier to conform to your humps. If you get the backed carpet It won't unravel (spelling) and take a little more abuse, especially on the floor of the car.

A way that I found worked for me is to use unbacked carpet and some pad underneath. First put the pad down on the floor and where you see a wrinkle, cut in the middle of it and lay it down flat, then cut the excess pad off to make it lay flat, then glue it down. Do this to hide all imperfections in your floor. Next take your non backed carpet and have a friend help you set it in the car and hold the carpet and use a rubber mallet to conform the carpet to the contours of the floor. Take it out, shoot some glue, put the carpet back in and touch up any areas that need contoured. Keep in mind this carpet will only look good for about a year before it starts to shed. If you are on a budget this is the way to go. Otherwise just buy some new premolded carpet.
