Going with a cool looking sealed install. Will prb make 5-sides of the box from 3/4" MDF, and then the mounting piece from 3/4" MDF. the rest of the baffel will be formed from fiberglass. I plan on using tshirt material for a couple layers, then switching to just resin. Then bondo, then spot puddy .

Will a couple layers of tshirt material be enough? Or should I use a certian amount like 5?

Id suggest using fiberglass mat. I just finished with my box, and i used about 6-10 layers of knytex mat on the fibergalss parts and it seems pretty rigid. Hope this helps.

t-shirt is just fine for a first layer but it really adds no strength, you need to do a few layers of mat and resin(bout .5 inch thick) and then some automotive body filler to fill in the uneven spaces. good luck-Tim
