Hey guys and gals. It's been a while since I posted a damn thing here but I am at a whits end.
I have an 88 GTI and the pocket that the sunroof slides into rattles like hell when I have the sunroof closed (when it is not in the pocket) and I Used a whole roll of Ice Gaurd on the roof and sealed up all the wholes with silicone and spray on deadner and then Ice Gaurded the hell out of it (5 Layers) It definately sounds a hell of alot better until I start to crank it and when the tunes are cranked inside I can hear it but when I get out man it sounds like someone is jack hammerin my roof bad. I am ripping the damn sunroof out tomorrow and am almost willing to weld the damn thing shut and rip the freakin pocket out all together. does anyone know how in the hell to gt the damn sunroof out and the best way to to get rid of a vibration like that?
