how do you remove the trim from a 97 or newer cavalier,or do i really have to take the dash board out?thanks alot

damn,i forgot that ,i am talking about the trim around the radio,to take the factory radio out.

to do it without screwing it up

pull off the dash end caps both sides
1 7mm on the left 2 on the right

open the glove box, 2 7mmtop right 1 in box other near vent. also 2 8mm gold screws if you look top left way in the back.

1 philips in center of dash on vent, remove vent. 2 7mm 1 left one right under the panel you just removed

lift dash off

3 7mm hilding trim panel on. all on the top, disconect lighter plug and remove.

now you have 2-3 7 mm holding the trim on

just in case...


reverse the process to put it back on.
