I am the proud owner of a 2000 Ford Excursion and wanna put a decent system in it. Nothing really competition oriented, just a decent sounding setup in the back. My big concern is the size of the passenger compartment. I was thinking 3-4 12"s or 10"s...no ideas on the brands yet-

I'd like to run with the Kenwood 910 in dash, dvd/cd/monitor unit...pro's or con's?

Thanks in advance!
-Sean

The kenwood DVD/screen unit's nice, but pricy. check out some other ones, Pioneer and alpine both make great units. never had problems with either brands DVD screens. I've never owned the kenwood, but the touch screen is cool. If u got the $$$ go for it, but if u have a budget, shop around first.

I like the fact that the Kenwood is a one piece unit for both the media and the screen..but I will take a look around, we're all on a budjet

Any suggestions on Speakers/box design for the rear?

-Thanks!
Sean

how about some ID MAXs? 3 or 4 of them with about 1,000 watts a piece would be un friggin real. it'll even shake that big beast of a truck you got there while taking up about 5 cubes total.
