You can buy an RCA converter and wire that in. They aren't very hard to do.

well phat that depends if you know where to getthe signal???!!!!

which is 300 head unit??? does it have nav???

how many speakers in the vehicle???

here's a little run down on how your lexus head unit works

a left and right signal out of the head into the amp (right of glove box) from there it gets divided up. depending on the system, but this is the majority...

left and right out for the front, it is a high passed signal at about 100hz. there it goes to the doors and then through a cap to the tweet.

the rear signal comes out in 4 pairs of wires all x'd-overed.

they look like 6x9's but the woofer part is a x-d over signal from 120 hz down and the speaker attached to it (the mid) plays the rest of the frequencies...

now it's easy to remove the rear seat and seat back to gain access to the wires to understand how it's ran and gain access to those wires they are in a plug under the rear deck cover (plug with 4 wires coming out each plug is in front of the 6x9)

make sure it is in phase , if one is out when you do your hilo then the subs will sound like crap

also all fade and balance is done through the amp through data wires from the head unit.

there you go.

not that easy especially when there is a x'd over signal coming from the factory amp. also get a good adjustable high level converter.

tap into the speakers in the back and run a high to low adapter ( rca convertor). Best way.

The head unit sends a signal to an amp that sounds like ****. The amp replaces the sound electronicaly and sends an ehanced signal to the speakers. Spice into them and run high to low adapter.

The BMW are the same way. You can spice into the amp outs, but its much harder to find what wires which.

Good luck

I would just use a line converter, because the IS has the nav and HU all in one
