im trying to install blue led's in my car, but they do not opperate at 12 volts, anyone know what resistor to get? the opperateing current is 3.7v.

400ohm to 600ohm should work if the operating current is between 20ma and 30ma.

But check the voltage with the resistor in-line with the power supply before final connections are made.
